Hi guys, I'm here too, per my invite. Don't have a clue what I'm doing here though. Gene, is there any possibility I can get a CD friendly install disk for klikit? My DVD burner is malfunctioning. I suspect I'll have top replace it, but don't have the money right now. I'd like to run klikit, and at least provide input on what works, what doesn't, and what could be improved. For now though, I am limited to a CD drive for doing the install. Ben

Yo guys!
It worked!

I've been running Klikit LE as my main OS for more than a week now. It's been amazingly stable, a couple of minor bugs, and a few things I probably messed up myself, but it looks great. If it doesn't start giving me more problems than it has so far, it will be hard to find things to write wiki articles about.

I discovered that you can simply select the entire content of an existing Wiki article, right-click and choose Copy, then create a new page in the Klikit Wiki, give it an appropriate name, and when the edit window opens, right-click again and choose Paste. The entire article, screenshots and all will be pasted into the new page. Then all you have to do is edit the text, to eliminate references specific to that "other" OS, and save the page, then create a link to your new article on the How tos index page. Could not hardly be any easier! No need to duplicate all the effort put into writing the original article, though in many cases, new screenshots will be in order. Ben

I have pasted in the entire how-tos index page from Xandros Wiki. The links still work and will take you to the existing articles on Xandros Wiki. In many cases, the existing articles can be copied and pasted into a new page on Klikit Wiki just as they are. In some cases you will need to edit the text, and/or replace the screenshots with shots taken from Klikit screens.

Added a Forum Status page due to a suggestion on the forums and the fact that the forum is now down. Will keep updating it.
