As of this particular addition this is REALLY a test page for discussion at the forum.

The video here took 9 minutes to upload at VideoBucket.

The file size as .avi is 26.6 mb.

The discussion that will be initiated at the forum will be around, maybe, two topics, but it may expand or contract.

The discussion which I will initiate will be:

a) the pros and cons of hosting such a video at a place like VideoBucket as opposed to storing it here or possibly both.

b) the "optimal" in terms of new folks, whoever, user friendlieness, application for compressing the .avi, possibly .mpeg files normally produced by hand held cameras such as OGG etc. to minimize upload times and server space if hosted here.

Here's the video, it is very rough.

Look at in terms of "does it convey the needed information" that is removal of a cd/dvd tray cover(for that particular model, which "slides" off).

I tried to upload it as an "insert image" not knowing any better and after 9 minutes the "uploader" said that It couldn't add the image that it put it in the files section instead.  THAT in and of itself says that the wiki is pretty "smart" and didn't just say..."I can't do that".

COMMENTS at the forum might also include, comparatively, how long it took you to get the file from here, or view, download from video bucket etc.
